Puppies are adorable especially if they are Labradoodle teddy bears.
Here are some of our key learnings after a few months with our new puppy:
- Do not allow them to sleep on your bed even for a single night. They must know that they need to sleep in their crate. We gave in for a couple of nights and he cried for the next week.
- Leave them by themselves every day for a little while so they do not have separation anxiety.
- Tie a bell near the door so that they can let you know when they want to go out. This works amazingly well.
- Do not give them any food while you are eating so they understand that no amount of pleading and puppy eyes will help them with a treat when others are eating.
